Toxic Exposure Lawyer

After many years of litigation, asbestos cases continue to proliferate, extending even to manufacturers who may have used infinitesimal amounts of asbestos in their products. In one such case, Abrams Gorelick represented a group of closely-held companies where plaintiff’s counsel sought to pierce the corporate veil and attach liability to the company with the “deepest pockets”. Abrams Gorelick successfully moved for Summary Judgment on behalf of its clients, arguing that our client did not manufacture a product containing asbestos and that plaintiff was not entitled to pierce the corporate veil.
Abrams Gorelick attorneys are proficient in defending our clients’ substantial interests in asbestos, latex, lead paint and “sick building” claims. We act as national coordinating counsel for the manufacturer of a jet engine component part in defending asbestos litigation. In addition to defending such actions, we have been involved in analyzing and litigating insurance coverage issues.
