Abrams Gorelick partner Thomas R. Maeglin was a co-presenter in a program on construction defect claims entitled “The Water Intrusion Claim that Ate New Jersey” at the Large Loss Conference presented by the Property and Liability Resource Bureau in Fort Worth, Texas on November 16th and 17th.

The workshop addressed large-scale construction defect claims with a focus on EIFS and water intrusion. The three-person panel was led by Deborah Barlow, AIC, Executive Liability Adjuster, Synergy Adjusting Corporation and also included Justin T. Kestner, P.E., President & CEO, Haag Engineering Co.

The Property and Liability Resource Bureau (PLRB) is an association of property and casualty insurance companies based in Downers Grove, Illinois. The services it provides to the 900 member insurance companies include education, casualty and property coverage research, as well as catastrophe and weather data and information.
