A founding member of Abrams Gorelick, Mr. Gorelick has practiced litigation and appellate law for over 40 years and has extensive experience in insurance coverage, employment practices liability for management, professional liability defense, and reinsurance.

Currently, he serves as coverage/monitoring counsel for a large London-based insurer regarding its opioid claim and litigation exposure. Over the years, Mr. Gorelick has represented a wide array of clients, including Lloyd’s of London, domestic insurance companies, financial services firms such as Neuberger Berman, Inc., and Chrysler Financial Services; municipalities, notably the City of New York in civil rights cases; and Fortune 500 companies like Chrysler Corporation and Home Depot, Inc.

Mr. Gorelick has been recognized as a Super Lawyer every year since 2011 and holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, indicating the highest level of professional excellence. He also has the distinct honor of serving as national coordinating coverage counsel for a property/casualty insurer in its asbestos coverage litigation.

Notably, Mr. Gorelick is involved in significant cases, including Maurice Goldman & Sons, Inc. v. Hanover Insurance Company, 80 N.Y.2d 986, 592 N.Y.S.2d 645 (1992).
