After many years of litigation, asbestos cases continue to proliferate, extending even to manufacturers who may have used infinitesimal amounts of asbestos in their products.  In one such case, AGF&J represented a group of closely-held companies where plaintiff's counsel sought to pierce the corporate veil and attach liability to the company with the "deepest pockets".  AGF&J successfully moved for summary judgment on behalf of its clients, arguing that our client did not manufacture a product containing asbestos and that plaintiff was not entitled to pierce the corporate veil.

AGF&J's attorneys are proficient in defending our clients' substantial interests in asbestos, latex, lead paint and "sick building" claims.  We act as national coordinating counsel for the manufacturer of a jet engine component part in defending asbestos litigation.  In addition to defending such actions, we have been involved in analyzing and litigating insurance coverage issues.
