James  M. Brown, Associate

Mr. Brown’s practice focuses on construction law, premises liability, product liability defense, and insurance coverage. Mr. Brown has experience in alternative dispute resolution and mediation, having mediated numerous cases on behalf of the State of New Jersey.

Mr. Brown has extensive experience in the construction law field, focusing on the application of New York’s Labor Law as it applies to owners, general contractors, construction managers, and subcontractors. His articles regarding construction law have been published in For the Defense magazine. Mr. Brown has further defended numerous building owners, retail establishments, and service providers in matters regarding premises liability.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Brown worked for a number of years in the insurance defense field. He also clerked for the Hon. Daryl F. Todd, Sr. in New Jersey.
